With the off-road vehicle on the dream road Panamericana - in 10 months from Canada to Tierra del Fuego. 45000 km were covered, 16 countries visited and countless adventures experienced. From the vastness of Canada to the natural beauties of the US national parks to the opposite and infinitely large Mexico. From there through wild Central America to Panama. From the Caribbean and incredibly hospitable Colombia through Ecuador, the land of volcanoes and rainforest. Through Peru with its original population and probably the most impressive cultural treasures to adventurous Bolivia. More than 5000m high passes to the European-looking Chile and further and further south to Patagonia with detours to the likeable but always slightly chaotic Argentina.
To the speakers
Tanja and Armin Vogelsang set off in July 2019 to first travel through Southeast Europe and Turkey and then Africa from north to south in their 2004 Mitsubishi L200. Both quit their jobs and gave up their apartment to devote themselves fully to this adventure.
The couple was able to test that living in a small space works in 2013/2014 when they walked along the Panamericana in an off-road vehicle with a roof tent. Tanja and Armin document their travels on the travel blog www.travelsouthbound.de
