Cooking on and in the fire has been Carsten Bothe's greatest passion for over 20 years. In his cooking courses you will get the necessary knowledge to successfully cook everything at home on your own fire.
For hundreds of thousands of years, sitting around the campfire has strengthened human community. The joint preparation and consumption of food has also created a bond between the individual members of the clan for ages. It is precisely these Stone Age genes that we address with our team-building event "Cooking by the campfire". Just as the smell of smoke is immediately let through by the brain into the waking consciousness, the pleasant feeling of security when sitting together around the campfire also arrives and connects people with one another on an emotional level that is deeply rooted in us. A level that was vital to survival and still exists, but was buried by civilization.
In the courses in Carsten Bothe's campfire cooking school, the participants learn how to cook properly at the campfire. Everything that is possible and impossible is shown, explained and done. From fried eggs to suckling pig, cooking and above all baking in the Dutch oven, vegetables directly on the embers or a whole suckling pig if more guests come.
